MONSOON AFFAIR

We picturise monsoon season as eating hot pakoras, sipping coffee, relaxing  and reading a book. But its not about that only. It is also about looking up for style.
We pick up our umbrellas and run to get downpours, in midst of all these activities we just ignore our dressing pattern. What we should wear and what we should ignore in the monsoon season should  be our concern. Basic mistakes we do while going out in rain to enjoy the showers- is we ignore our dressing style.

Clothes not to wear during Monsoon season

1. Denims- Avoid wearing denims, they stick to your body and when drenched, it may cause irritation or rashes. Moreover it takes time to get dry.
Try alternative of denims, Look for skirts or plazos or funky pyjamas.

2. White Color- As we all know, the dirt is splashed, so it gets difficult to remove those stains. In addition to this, it gets transparent when it gets wet.
Try wearing monsoon colours like blue, brown, grey.

3. Full length clothes- In cities like Mumbai, where water is till knees, you cannot move out with full length clothes. There is always a fear of spoiling your clothes. So stick to knee length shorts or skirts which will save your clothes from getting spoilt.

4. Tight Fitting Clothes- Keeping weather in mind, we should avoid wearing tight fitting clothes. They tend to cling to our bodies resulting in itchiness and red spots which will be harmful for the skin. Skin will get wrinkles when the clothes are hugged to the body. So try wearing loose kurtis or loose shirts.

5. Leather and Suede- These days, be it women or men everyone is fascinated with leather. Leather bags, leather shoes, Suede bags. But allies, this is not the right idea to carry your expensive leather stuff in the rains. Try carrying plastic made bags and rain-proof footwears to make it stylish and comfortable.

6. Dry material - Clothes and shoes or socks stink when they get wet. So try wearing clothes which will dry easily with the good breeze. This is more important otherwise your house will stink of those peculiar rain smell.
